Venice For Change will be hosting a voter registration booth at the Abbot Kinney Street Festival in Venice! The festival attracts over 150K visitors from all over Southern California and is truly a target-rich environment for registering new voters!
Our goal is ambitious - we want to register ONE THOUSAND new and lapsed voters! Can we do it? YES WE CAN! But we need your help - we need volunteers to help set up and break down the booth, to work the crowd during the festival, and to help us with data entry afterward.
PRIZES WILL BE GIVEN OUT TO VOLUNTEERS WHO REGISTER THE MOST VOTERS!
When you RSVP, please INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS and what you want to volunteer for: voter registration, booth setup or break down, data management. If you are volunteering to manage data, you must have your own laptop.
