On Sunday Venice Beach celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Venice Canals Boat Parade, an annual holiday tradition that brings out the closet mariners (Because nothings says Xmas like standing in a leaky boat surrounded by badly wired electrical devices).
It's also a great excuse to party as residents along the canal open up their homes. Here are a few photos I took of the festivities. (click on any photo to see full-sized versions)
